Adonis Blue
A very successful visit to Yoesden Bank in the Chilterns produced a plethora of newly emerged Adonis Blue both male and female in approx. equal proportions. This UK's most Northerly breeding site for this species showed Numbers in the very high Hundreds. Also seen were Small Blues, Dingy and Grizzled Skippers, Meadow Browns, Common Blue and Speckled Wood. Our UK list now stands at 51.
